The RHS Picture Gardens exhibition at Wisley features a series of photographs submitted by invitation. Paul entered six images from recent work, mainly taken on film after three years of shooting exclusively digital.
The first four images were shot on colour negative, taking advantage of the texture of grain, a quality many photographers who no longer using traditional methods miss.
The final two images, Quercus palustris and Phalaenopsis, are digital files. They show the advantages of this method of capture in beautifully accentuating the translucency of the subjects.
